The Crazy Lobster
Though its name suggests a menu dominated by lobster, The Crazy Lobster lets plenty of other catches share the spotlight. The namesake crustacean joins snow crab clusters, shrimp, and crawfish in the boiled seafood bucket, though it's entirely absent from po' boys, which executive chef Lance Lewis makes with fried helpings of shrimp, oyster, crawfish, and catfish. To round out his Cajun menu, he serves crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, shrimp creole, and rings of calamari that he finishes with habanero oil to give it some heat because magma is considered "dangerous" for whatever reason.
To complement Lance's plates, bartenders craft eight signature cocktails and five variations of the New Orleans hurricane, whose Caribbean blend of mango, pineapple, and lime is spiked with different premium rums. Meals unfold at The Crazy Lobster's indoor and outdoor dining areas on the banks of the Mississippi River, where local musicians play upbeat tunes seven nights a week as well as all day Saturday and Sunday.
