Absolutely one of if not the best place to go for creole and cajun cuisine in the city. Everything we got was delicious. Highly recommended. Note that the patio isn’t truly open air.

So, this place is simply amazing. The location, the staff, the food, the drinks...they got everything right. Fried Green Tomatoes are PERFECTION!! Our experience here was so great we changed our plans and came back the next night for dinner.
Owner is fantastic and quintessential southern gentleman. He visited every table and made sure we were satisfied.
Will DEFINITELY return.

Very cool layout. We loved the vibe. The staff was friendly, unpretentious, knowledgeable, and tactfully attentive- we never wanted anything long before we had it yet weren't pestered.
The food is legit. The vegan tamales were a solid start. Great flavor.
The poppin' john was fresh and full of flavor. She had the brisket and barely spoke. Too busy mmm-ing.
I had a perfectly blackened catfish on a just-right amount of cheese grits.
Too many items to try in one meal so we'll be back for the burger, fried chicken, and a variety of other starters.
