About The Denver School of Photography
As a budding shutterbug, Jeffrey Rupp felt a passion for photography so consuming that he often found himself sequestered in the darkroom until the early hours of the morning. As head of The Denver School of Photography, he works to spread this fervor to his students, working with staff to equip them with a solid foundation of photo knowledge.
The school's hands-on classes accommodate newbies and experts alike. In small groups, pupils grasp the basics of digital photography and the computer programs, such as Photoshop and Lightroom, which fashion flawless masterpieces. Workshops facilitate a more intensive study of photography, often unfolding amid local landscapes where students frame close-ups of nature or the nostrils of bewildered fellow hikers.
