What You'll Get
Welcome to Groupon Charlotte! For our inaugural deal, $50 gets you six prepared meals from Dinner A’Fare, a combined $115 value.
You're probably thinking, "That sounds great, but I've never bought a car or a computer without first reading the Wikipedia definitions for car and computer—I'm not about to buy a Groupon either without a briefing." Well neither would we, and since this is everyone's first Groupon, allow us to briefly explain how it works.
How Groupon Works
Groupon is a combination of the words group and coupon. Each day, we offer an unbeatable deal on the best of Charlotte: restaurants, spas, sporting events, theater, and more. By promising businesses a minimum number of customers, we get discounts you won't find anywhere else. We call it "collective buying power"!
If you want to get the deal, just click BUY before the offer ends at midnight. If the minimum number of people (20 for today's deal) sign up by the end of the day, you'll get a printable gift certificate in your inbox the next morning that you can use whenever you want (well, at least until the deal expires—today's expires in one year). If not enough people join, no one gets the deal (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the discount!
It's nice to wake up to something new every day. Some people get their daily fix from desk calendars with a cute puppy and a funny caption every morning. Groupon is like a desk calendar, except the puppy is an unbeatable discount and the funny caption is a profound reflection on the flowers and needles growing from life's cactus. We selflessly share our deep insights, hoping that you will join our mob of consumers, thus strengthening our collective buying power and commanding even better deals.
Every morning, nature presents a simple ultimatum: eat or die. Given the option, however, one should live to eat, not vice versa. The inexpensive and deliciously assembled food from The Dinner A'Fare will ensure that you live to relish your meals.
With today's Groupon, $50 gets you six healthy, pre-assembled meals (each serving two to three people) to cook at home from Dinner A’Fare. That's 57% off a $115 value, and just $2.78 per meal per person—pretty much cheaper than any meal you can assemble from store-bought ingredients, and all without the spice-aisle mulling, chopped-onion sobbing, burnt-rice scrubbing, and mixing-spoon bleaching that comes part and parcel with the normal kitchen skullduggery.
Take that convenience, and throw in the total ease of placing your order with Dinner A'Fare, and you've got the simplest route to delicious, pre-assembled meals that you could ever want. You just pick your six meals from the menu, and email your single, combined order (you'll get the email address with your Groupon). When you stop by the South Park location, you're food is fresh—each meal is assembled within 24 hours—and can be kept in the fridge to cook within a week, or frozen for later use.
Customers rave about how Dinner A'Fare makes their lives easier with affordably delicious options. Check out the company's October menu, which has 15 entree options, including walnut-and-cheddar-stuffed pork chops and spiced tilapia with tomatillo salsa. You'll be happy to know that Dinner A'Fare participates in the Sustainable Seafood Program to help fight environmentally destructive seafood harvesting and maintain the uneasy truce with Prince Namor of Atlantis. Customize ingredients according to your tastes or allergies—full nutritional information and cooking instructions are available online.
Note: This Groupon is good for pick up from the South Park location only.
Though customers of Charlotte's Dinner A'Fare locations are too busy savoring their mouthwatering, no-stress meals to write online user reviews, Dinner A'Fare's Northside Drive and Northlake locations in Atlanta have perfect five-star ratings on Citysearch:
- We are seriously blown away at the quality of the meals. We just had meal 11 of 12 of our first delivery and there hasn't been a bum meal yet. Easy to assemble and the cooking times are very precise. – crumbaugh
- I have saved so much time and money by getting meals from A Dinner A'fare...Many of the dishes seem like something I would order at a restaurant... As a busy professional, student, wife, and mother, I can at least know that my family will have a good meal to eat at dinnertime and we're not picking things up (fast food) on the run. – busybee1
- This place is great! This is how I serve almost every meal to my family now. Our grocery bills have been cut dramatically...we couldn't make these dinners ourselves for this price. – MaryHadley
