Q:

I came in a couple of years ago with one of my cats but haven't been back since then. I have a new kitten: would I qualify for the new client groupon?

Tami A.  asked on  Aug 10, 2012

A:

Hi Tami! If you haven't been in to the hospital in 2 or more years with your pets, you would be considered a new client and eligable for the Groupon.

Q:

I'm getting a new puppy. Will this deal work for first time shots and exam for my puppy?

Linda A.  asked on  Aug 10, 2012

A:

Congrats on your new puppy! The deal will work for puppies as well, though it might be too young for some of the things, you should still save money with the Groupon. Puppies 6 weeks and older can get an physical exam, DAPP vaccine, and fecal exam. Puppies 4 months and older can get those things as well as a rabies vaccine. Puppies 6 months and older can get everything included in the Groupon package!

Q:

I already have a microchip in my pooch. What else does the deal cover?

Jane  asked on  Aug 10, 2012

A:

The microchip deal only covers a microchip. There are 2 other deals available however and the exam and vaccine package for dogs for $49 might be just what your pooch needs!

Q:

Does the microchip have the ability to locate the pet via GPS? Or is it the type where the chip needs to scanned when the animal is located?

Courtney B.  asked on  Aug 10, 2012

A:

Hi Courtney! The microchips do not map the pets location by GPS. Instead they produce a unique ID when scanned (which shelters and vets do for found or homeless pets) which provides link to a permanant listing in a national database. The microchip deal being offered includes a HomeAgain microchip and registration with this database. For more information check out www.homeagain.com!
