Drive-in movie theaters with two screens & kid-friendly movie playing on at least one screen

Drive-in theaters replaced drive-thru theaters, known for their bargain-priced, no-frills versions of popular films, such as One Man and a Baby and Star War. Avoid cutting corners with today's Groupon to The Drive-In. This Groupon is valid at locations in Harpersville and Trussville. Movies are screened on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. Choose between the following options:

  • For $10, you get admission for one car with unlimited people (up to a $25 value). The value is based on an average occupancy of five people (a $5 value/adult; a $2 value/child) per car, but there is no extra charge for a car with more than five people.
  • For $5, you get admission for two adults (a $10 value).

Star-studded stories flicker to life under the night's sky on the enormous screens at The Drive-In. Two screens at each outdoor cinema sanctuary showcase Hollywood's finest recently released pictures, and at least one of the screens at each location always projects a kid-friendly flick. Viewers can tune their car radios to pick up the feature's audio as they watch the movie from inside their cozy car, from blankets and lawn chairs on the grass, or from the point on the screen closest to Gwyneth Paltrow's nostrils. Though snacks are not included in this Groupon, concessions are available for those who feel peckish during the film.

About The Drive In

During the week, the lot at The Drive-In sits vacant—but it's far from abandoned. A bit before the clock strikes 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, cars start to crowd into empty spots. The carloads of families and couples on date night are there for the feature, which usually includes one kid-friendly movie—think Planes—or one for grownups, such as Wolverine. Plus, audience members can munch on buckets of popcorn as films unfold.
