Really a great time! Free shots and wine was bottomless. The experiments were cool and the staff were so sweet. The game segments were my favorite part.

Went in March, Literally the best time that I’ve had in a while! All the experiments were so fun and engaging. I even made new friends. Definitely worth the money! Drinks were pretty much bottomless and the host was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Cant wait to go back!

I really liked the idea of this, but thought parts of the execution were lacking. The elephant toothpaste demonstration was lackluster, and the frog dissection was rushed and with inadequate instructions. If an animal is going to give its life for educational purposes, you should spend a respectful amount of time learning with it. I thought the discussions were a welcome and interesting part of the evening.

The idea behind The Drunken Laboratory is genius, but the execution just isn't ready yet. The event as a whole was really disorganized, almost like this was everyone's first time doing it. We started 25 minutes late which is no big deal, but we were left standing in a freezing hallway with no explanation of what was happening. The instructor clearly had no idea what she was doing and it became really apparent throughout the night. As she did her intro to the class, she read her lines off of a computer and kept pausing to read them, giggle, then recite them back to us. She didn't explain the first experiment at all and then said "go do it", but no one had any idea what we were supposed to do or how to make it happen. She eventually explained it once I spoke up, but with each experiment it was a struggle to understand what she was trying to get us to do. The final experiment didn't end up working for anyone (even the instructor when she tried two separate times) and it just seemed like a general lack of understanding of how it works and why it wasn't happening. We definitely don't need a science expert to teach these classes, but someone with any sort of science knowledge would have been really helpful. To end on a positive note, they were really generous with replenishing drinks and we were never empty for more than a few minutes. I also thought the concept of giving out shots for correct answers was really cute and encouraged the group to be interactive. Overall, the concept is brilliant and has a lot of potential, but it unfortunately was so poorly executed that I couldn't recommend it to anyone.
