Q&A with Dominic Germano, Owner
What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
Our signature broiled seafood combo features scallops, haddock, shrimp stuffed with crabmeat, and clams casino all broiled to perfection in white wine and butter. Our Summer of Lobster Love campaign features creative lobster dishes starting at $16. We have the best tail in town.
What is one fun, unusual fact about your business?
Though founded as a hotel in 1904, the Fairgrounds Hotel has not been a hotel in over 100 years. [It features] historic and quaint, old Victorian–era dining rooms in one area, and one of the most authentic Old World–style pubs in another area. The Fairgrounds Hotel is truly a historic place to eat, drink, and have fun.
In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
Our menu specializes in fresh seafood with signature lobster dishes, broiled seafood combos, Maryland crab cakes, and more. For the land lovers, we offer steak, chicken, appetizers, and creative sandwiches and wraps.
