An annual membership enables families in the greater Richmond or Fredericksburg areas to order fresh vegetables from local farmers. Every week, The Farm Table delivers a box of fresh fruits and vegetables—such as spinach, sweet potatoes, squash, apples, or salad fixings— directly to your home or office for a weekly charge. The first two boxes are included with this deal, with the option of continuing the service for $27.25 per week plus tax for 12 more months. Each Friday, customers receive an email with a list of what will be in the upcoming box, with an option to change or skip the week. Boxes are then delivered on the following Thursdays.

How is your approach different than that of other professionals in your field?
We source from nearly 40 family farmers and artisans within 150 miles of our food hub in Montpelier, VA. We focus on delivering our customers local, fresh, and delicious food - dirt to doorstep. Members are able to customize their weekly orders to best suit their needs, which reduces waste and increases joy (two things we're passionate about.)
What's one tip for first-time customers that will make them feel like regulars?
The ever-changing weekly menu becomes available on Friday at 2:00 pm. You have all weekend to finalize your order, but log in close to 2:00 pm to get your favorite local fare before it sells out.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
Seasonal Roots was founded in 2010 to reconnect the local community to its local farmers. Currently in our 6th delivery season, we still strive to offer consistent, year-round, support to local farmers. We love making fresh and healthy food available in a way that's convenient for families of all sizes.
