One Month Unlimited Fencing Course for Beginners

Join our structured beginner class and enjoy learning the basics of fencing. Classes are divided into Beginner Level 1A, 1B, Intermediate Level 2, and Advanced Level 3. Separate classes for Under 7-10 yo ,11 to 14 yo, and 15+ (including adults), depending on demand. Classes are held in pairs of days, M-W, Tu-Th, choose the combination that works for you.

About The Fencing Center

The Fencing Center & Yoga Studio has been immersing students in swordplay,multiple yoga styles and Cardio classes since 1981. The nonprofit employs 10 fencing coaches; including a three-weapon Maestro (and former Olympics coach for Mexico, & Elite coach Singapore), another three weapon Moniteur d'Escrime recipient, and surrounds students in a highly-decorated environment of achievement. Champions at international and local levels have gone through their doors, though not before starting out with required introductory and beginner classes. Students can then graduate to advanced techniques and competitive training programs in epée, foil, or saber. The center also provides 16 Olympic-style strips, 11 being grounded for a true competitive experience, in a 15,500 square feet facility. For Historical Fencing: The coach and founding member of Davenriche European Martial Arts School, Stephen Fick has partnered with The Fencing Center. These classes are taught with a a slant towards competitive fencing. Students learn historical martial arts leading to the development of Olympic or Competitive fencing. Steaphen Fick leads the classes and is responsible for the safety and efficacy of their combat activities. Steaphen is an excellent teacher, and a HEMA competitor, he is also the author of Beginner’s Guide To The Longsword, European Weaponry Techniques, published by Black Belt Books. In addition to writing, he has worked on projects with the Disney Channel, Lucas Films, the History Channel Modern Marvels, Galatia Films, and is currently working with Dawnrunner Productions on their newest project. Located above all the parrying, TFC's yoga studio offers classes in a variety of styles. Teachers guide students through yoga in a relaxing yet high-energy environment - open to students or waiting parents. Cardio Barre classes are held downstairs.
