Physicists have determined that the best way to subdue wall-bouncing photons is to let them loose until they need a nap. Apply the latest scientific findings to your kid’s playtime with today’s Groupon: for $10, you get Value-Pak admissions for two to The Fun Factory.

The Fun Factory thrills children up to age 10 with 1,600 square feet and two storeys of brightly coloured ball-pits, tunnels, slides, and tubes. Value-Pak admission includes unlimited access to play areas and comes with the choice of one game of laser tag, nine tokens for use in the arcade, or three peeks at their siblings' diaries. Youngsters who choose laser tag join a troupe of nine other wee laser-wielders for a 10-minute whirlwind zapping session. Committed to customer safety, The Fun Factory's staff outfits each child and his or her caregiver with a stamping system. This stamping system ensure that each adult goes home with the right child and that everyone gets admitted backstage at an Iron Maiden concert.

The Fun Factory

Beneath a rotating disco ball, marksmen snake through a maze of glowing graphics, blasting opponents with infrared laser beams. After finishing up their five-minute games inside the 1,200-square-foot laser tag arena, sock-clad youngsters between the ages of 3 and 10 can dive into the ball pits, crawl through the tunnels, and glide down the slides of the two-storey play unit. Meanwhile, a separate toddler area accommodates tots with age appropriate ball pits, slides, and picture book adaptations of Sartre’s Being and Nothingness. Elsewhere, visitors can compete in rounds of air hockey and tic-tac-toe in the arcade or reenergize with whole-wheat sandwiches and house-made soups from the snack bar.
