The menu at The Great American Tavern mixes classic pub food, such as bacon cheeseburgers and shepherd's pie, with inventive entrees, such as American chop suey with elbow macaroni, simmered beef, tomatoes, and onions. No matter what patrons order, they're sure to find the perfect drink pairing from a menu featuring specialty martinis and 14 draft beers.
But food and drink are just half of the appeal. The restaurant is always buzzing with entertainment, whether it comes from sports being shown on more than a dozen 50" TVs, or from the live music and comedy showcases hosted in the tavern's function room.
I thought the food was good and we had the same waitress twice - she was good and attentive

The tavern 1|2 plate was delicious, tenderly cooked and just the right portion. Very reasonably priced and the portion with the baked potato and asparagus was just right. Love the French Onion soup. The best I have had around here. The service was.prompt and the waitress was very friendly and accommodating.
