Choose from Three Options
- $39 for entry for one adult to the Great Gauntlet obstacle-course challenge ($60 value)
- $69 for entry for one adult to the Gauntlet Games CrossFit competition ($100 value)
- $19 for entry for one child to the kids’ Great Gauntlet obstacle-course challenge ($30 value)
Competitors test their mettle in the obstacle-course challenge, which eliminates running in favor of lots of obstacles, or the CrossFit challenge, which features intense Workouts of the Day exercises. The Great Gauntlet also features a kids’ obstacle-course challenge. The events take place on Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25.
The Great Gauntlet
The Great Gauntlet specializes in races without running. Instead, at its timed events, participants hurtle through sequences of obstacles and perform CrossFit challenges, with no extraneous jogging required.
The obstacle-course challenge sticks exclusively to obstacles, such as climbing a sloped wall or crossing water via monkey bars, just as monkeys do in the wild. The CrossFit challenge, on the other hand, blends its obstacles with burpees, dead lifts, and other CrossFit exercises. Both races offer options for three fitness levels, ensuring that every athlete makes it to the finish line. The obstacle course also tests kids ages 7–15 separately.
