About The Guild
There's no better cure for frustration with overly digitized life than seeing immediate results of one's own work. It's even better when it's a creative outlet for the spirit and imagination. And this is exactly what is offered at The Guild—a creative reprieve from life's hustle and bustle into the world of traditional arts and crafts.
The Guild's knowledgeable instructors hold seminars and workshops in various fields of traditional arts and crafts, such as blacksmithing, glasswork, sewing, chain mail making, and ceramics. During their 5-hour introduction to blacksmithing workshops, participants learn about the basic metallurgy techniques and safety, while making a decorative metal hook with their own hands. During the 4-hour leatherwork workshops, on the other hand, the instructor walks the aspiring artists through the process of making a custom sheath for their knife.
