Children occupied by constructive activities are less likely to buy BB guns or hang out with dogs that buy children BB guns. Keep tots gainfully at play with today’s Groupon for a “Footloose Friday Parent’s Night Out” at The Gymnastics Place. Choose from the following options:
- For $15, you get admission for two children (up to a $40 value).
- For $27, you get admission for four children (up to an $80 value).
- For $35, you get admission for six children (up to a $120 value).
Admission tickets can be used for a group of children on a single night or one child over multiple visits. The Friday-night sessions begin at 7 p.m. (6 p.m. for Gymnastics Place members) and run until 10 p.m.
The Gymnastics Place amuses young ones with both physical and video entertainment during staff-supervised Footloose Friday parties. Gather energetic offspring or sentient kitchen mops for a night of fun inside The Gymnastic Place’s child-centered facility, replete with gymnastics equipment and activities, arts and crafts, G-rated movies, and games. For at least three hours, kiddies play a number of interactive games and activities alongside dozens of their peers, and chow down on a satisfying snack of pizza and soft drinks to refill their engines. The Footloose sessions, hosted by Gymnastics’ enthusiastic staff, require no parent participation, giving guardians a night off with which to enjoy a romantic dinner, watch a live performance, or build a skyscraper.
The Gymnastics Place
Children have flipped, tumbled, jumped, and hurled themselves into the air for more than 20 years at The Gymnastics Place. Kids practice their all-around skills on equipment that includes the vault, beam, and bars. They can also break out into specialized classes that focus on tumbling and trampolining, and cheerleading. The center encourages adult involvement, with Mom & Tots classes—in which tots as young as 18 months old begin learning the basics of gymnastics—and boot-camp classes that ramp up fitness. Or moms and dads can get a night to themselves with Footloose Fridays: kids play and eat pizza at The Gymnastics Place, and parents can stay at home and debate the pronunciation of "Nadia Comăneci."
