Q:

Does the one-week pass to this fitness club include the usage of pilates equipment?

Lynn M.  asked on  Jan 9, 2013

A:

Aloha Lynn unfortunately the one week pass only allows for the use of the gym equipment and group x classes not including the pilates equipment in the pilates studio. We do not allow students to use the pilates equipment unsupervised. Thank you.

Q:

I am wondering if this would work for me. I don't want to waste time and money, but I was going to have liposuction to get rid of lots of cellulite in my thighs, back of leggs, and some around the stomach. I am going to have a skin removal after the proceedure to get rid of the extra skin I have had for over 20 years from my pregnacies. I think this might be a better option but really can't afford to waste my money!! I have been saving for this for years and don't want to make the wrong decision. If you think it cannot be done, thank you for your honesty. I am willing to pay for the 12 sessions, but again, don't want to be ripped off. I am 5'4 weigh 125 or so, and most of the fat is all in the leg/hips/thighs. When I do loose the weight naturally then all my body fat goes, like in my breast, butt, etc, and I look like a bean pole with no curves, so I think just having surgery is the best bet

Q:

What does a "reformer" class mean? I have taken Pilates for one year but would greatly benefit from the one on one, but would prefer a more advanced or harder class. Would any of the core classes be part of the Groupon? Thanks in advance!

Kristin W.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Aloha Kristin, the reformer is a piece of pilates equipment that uses springs for resistance. Each person uses a reformer in a class. Sounds like you've been doing mat pilates. Since you're new to the equipment this groupon would be great for you to expand your pilates repertoire!
