The Hungry Heart
When it came time for John David Payne, the owner of The Hungry Heart, to name his restaurant, he was inspired by a line from the epic poem Ulysses by Tennyson. He wanted the name to remind patrons to live life to its fullest, which was fitting since Payne himself had abandoned his former life in order to pursue his dreams of opening a restaurant. At Hungry Heart, the gastropub-inspired kitchen is equally inspired, with chefs drawing from recipes from around the globe. The rustic interior also lends itself to dining and drinking, beckoning guests to sip on the variety of beers and whiskeys that are offered.
