Hans Fleischmann's revisionist production of Tennessee Williams' play The Glass Menagerie was a local hit when it premiered in 2012. The Chicago Reader called it "intelligently acted [and] exquisitely paced." Fleischmann's newest reimagining is sure to fascinate audiences anew, thanks in part to a cast that includes local faves Kate Buddeke and Zach Wegner. Teaming with The Hypocrites, Fleischmann has created another emotional, awe-inspiring production, which takes place at Chicago's Den Theatre. The story concerns a man obsessed with his past, living a hard life on the streets as he imagines what could have been. Fiction and reality will collide, and you'll be left standing on your feet and cheering for more once the final curtain falls.
