A nation's leader must speak not only for himself, but also for his people, especially when seated in the driver's seat at the drive-thru. Learn about presidential food preferences with today's Groupon: for $100, you get a three-hour cooking class with a former presidential chef at The Inn of the Patriots in Grover, North Carolina, plus a tour of the Baker Buffalo Creek Vineyard and the Presidential Culinary Museum (a $250 value).

Featured on Good Morning Arkansas and the Today show, former presidential chef and Camp David manager chef Marti Mongiello draws upon his experience creating delectable entrees for the commander-in-chief to stir up culinary lessons at this five-star bed and breakfast. Guests start the day touring and tasting at the Baker Buffalo Creek Vineyard before graduating to chef Marti's kitchen, where aspiring culinary artists create their own gourmet meal and hear saucy stories of presidential lore. Voted the Best Place to Enjoy History by BedandBreakfast.com, The Inn of the Patriots also features the Presidential Culinary Museum, which houses presidential artifacts, fine china dating back to the Jefferson administration, and a secret cache of Taft's edible moustaches.

Guests politely devour their epicurean meal in the BYOB-friendly dining room, a throwback to colonial tastes with large windows, flowing red drapes, and a warm dining table with all the trimmings. The whole event lasts about four or five hours. Guests are welcome any day the week, but must make a formal declaration of attendance via reservation or by holding a constitutional convention. Times are subject to availability.
