Q:

What about a melasma on the forehead, or does the entire face have to be treated? Does this still count as a medium area? Thanks!

Jennifer C.  asked on  Nov 16, 2012

A:

The IPL can make melasma worse so we avoid treating that area. The face is considered to be a medium area.

A:

You have four questions: 1. IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. It is used to improve the skin damaged by sunlight. 2. It does not eradicate wrinkles. There is a treatment for that called the ReFirme. 3. It does help with sun damage on the front of the legs and is part of the offer. 4. The normal protocol is five treatments per area spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Jeanette M.  asked on  Nov 15, 2012

A:

This offer is for IPL Photofacial for sun damaged skin and not hair removal.

Q:

Can these treatments be used to lighten or remove age spots and other sun damaged spots on the face? How many treatments are needed to do both cheeks?

Irene B.  asked on  Nov 14, 2012

A:

We do two passes on the full face. The normal protocol is five treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. It has four primary benefits: it will decrease the intensity of dark spots, decrease the size of large pores, soften and smooth the texture of the skin, and lastly decrease broken veins and capillaries. However, nothing can go away completely. Your skin will look better.

Christy W.  asked on  Nov 14, 2012
