About The Jackson Chance Foundation
When a critically ill child is placed in a neonatal-intensive-care unit, treatment often takes months. The founders of The Jackson Chance Foundation learned this firsthand when their son Jackson was born prematurely, ultimately spending all but 48 hours of his 10-month life in the NICU.
To honor his memory, the nonprofit strives to ease the mental and financial burden on families during trying times, ensuring that parents and relatives get to spend as much time as possible with the child. Through a partnership with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, the foundation provides complimentary transportation to families whose children are in the NICU.
