The Deal

  • $17 for general admission for two to the Johnny Cash Museum, featuring The Legends of Sun Records exhibit ($30 value)

One of the most iconic record labels of the 20th century comes back to life during The Legends of Sun Records, the latest exhibit at the Johnny Cash Museum. Drawing from Sun Records’ packed roster, curators have assembled a collection of artifacts from performers including Roy Orbison, W.S. Holland, and “Million Dollar Quartet” collaborators Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Many of the pieces, which deal mainly with Sun’s heyday in the 1950s, are drawn from the personal collections of the artists or their estates, and will be making their first appearances at the Johnny Cash Museum.

The Johnny Cash Museum

Sporting an AAA Gem rating—an honor only bestowed upon six Nashville attractions—the Johnny Cash Museum honors the life, work, and legend of one of American music's most iconic figures. The mythology of the Man in Black comes to life through a collection of the musician's personal memorabilia, bringing guests into contact with the music and lyrics that reshaped country music for generations of fans. Curated by lifelong fan and owner Bill Miller, the collection has earned plaudits from outlets ranging from CNN and the New York Times to Billboard and Vogue, with National Geographic's placing it at the top of their list of Pitch-Perfect Museums.
