Teaching young people proper dining etiquette prepares them for a refined adulthood and discourages telekinetic children from mentally bending dinner guests' silverware. Prevent company from eating with their hands with today’s Groupon: for $25, you get a mini-manners fun etiquette class at The Kids in the Castle Etiquette Training (a $50 value). Upcoming class dates include Sunday, September 18; Tuesday, October 4; Tuesday, October 18; and Thursday, November 3.
The instructors at The Kids in the Castle impart youths with a foundation of etiquette and social skills that enhances mannerly interactions throughout their lives. The mini-manners training course introduces children age 5–10 to dining-engagement and social-gathering etiquette within a fun-filled environment, similar to settings in Jane Austen novels. During the hour-long class, youths explore the fundamentals of table manners and garnering acquaintances through friendly discourse. Additionally, kids compose RSVPs and thank-you notes to prepare them for a lifetime of timely thoughtfulness and enhanced stamp-licking skills.
Each instructor undergoes extensive background checks and annual CPR and AED training to ensure the safety of the debutants. Although classes for older children are not included in this Groupon, The Kids in the Castle is now hosting Pre-Homecoming etiquette classes starting October 2nd for teens followed by Fall Cotillion training for burgeoning young ladies and their pet raccoons.
