Left to their own devices, children will chew through drywall, eat a four-course meal of crayons, and construct complex chromosome models using legos. Keep kids healthily occupied and engaged with today’s Groupon to The Little Gym of Fresno. A membership to The Little Gym is not required to use this Groupon. Choose between two options:
• For $40, you get four consecutive kids' classes (an $80 value), considered consecutive if they take place on the same day at the same time four weeks in a row.
• For $150, you get an Awesome Birthday Bash package for 15 kids (a $295 value). Additional children can join the Bash for an extra fee ($12 for non-members, $9 for members) per child.
With more than 30 years of kid-entertaining experience, The Little Gym provides a safe and noncompetitive environment wherein wee ones can exercise their brains and bodies. Visiting youngsters glean social, intellectual, and emotional skills from the facility's professionally developed parent/child program. Kids can also enjoy programs focused on diverse activities in gymnastics, dance, and sports that cater to different ages, levels of muscle development, and hatred of vegetables. Each session's hands-on activities keep the indefatigable energy motors of little tykes revving; facilitate bonding; and boost listening skills, attention spans, and confidence. Check the complete class schedule to confirm times.
The Little Gym's Awesome Birthday Bash package regales groups with activities designed specifically for the child of the birth hour and his or her friends. Skilled instructors guide the proceedings and take charge of all setups, cleanups, and dustups with cake-thieving cats, leaving parents free to join in the merry-making. Parties are available for children aged 1–12 years old.
The Little Gym
In 1976, educator, musician, and kinesiologist Robin Wes longed for a children's gym that prioritized personal growth over competition. Unveiled at a time when physical-education classes pushed students to focus almost exclusively on winning, Robin's program was swiftly adopted and is now used in more than 300 Little Gyms worldwide. Robin still pens original music to accompany lessons, which engage whippersnappers 4 months old–12 years old with gymnastics, dance, and parent and child activities.
Each of The Little Gym's classes introduces simple movements that sharpen motor skills and set brains whirring, allowing kids to progress at their own pace until they can finally build a computer out of macaroni and glitter. Staff members strive to build a base for lifelong social skills and self-assurance with each exercise, including activities rooted purely in fun, such as summer camps or birthday parties, which helped The Little Gym to earn title of #1 Birthday Chain in Parents Magazine.
