Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

What does a 6 month membership get you at Little Gym?

Ashley I.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Ashley - During that time, this will give you access to all discounts that we offer only to our members on items such as birthday parties, holiday camps, parent survival nights, our loyalty points program, access to Priority Enrollment (ability to choose choose classes in upcoming sessions before the general public), access to member-only events through the year, etc.. It also means that, if you decide to enroll after your three weeks of classes, the membership is already paid. Thanks for the question! We are sure it will be a common one.

More Questions and Answers

Q:

Hi, I wanted to purchase this for my granddaughter who is 3 months- The only problem is the it has to be used by feb. 15 and in consecutive weeks, and her and her mom are going to be leaving for England that week, can they extened it till they come back in march. Thanks

Anne G.  asked on  Jan 19, 2013

A:

Hi Anne. Unfortunately we can't extend the expiry date for one person and say no to all the rest or the deal rules fall apart. I will tell you that we have great Bugs offers (4month to 10 month-olds) outside of the groupon deal and encourage you to contact the gym for details. Thanks for considering us!

Q:

Is this cupon good for current members? Kumar

ANANTHA K.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Hi Kumar, another great question!. Yes, this is available to everyone, including current members. However, current members should be aware that this groupon deal will only renew your membership until August 31/13, so depending on when your current membership expires, it might not be "worth it" for you. Also, the three classes included in this deal will be in addition to your current classes, they cannot "take the place" of classes you are already enrolled in. So, current members should figure out if it is "worth it" for you > it might not be, unless you want 3 additional classes before March 8/13. Hope this helps -Ed

Q:

How much are classes for a 17month old for one class per week after the 3 classes?

Rachel M.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Rachel, there are many options for tuition payments such as paying in full for the rest of the season or choosing from a a number of installment plan options. The tuition is pro-rated to the end of the season, so the total cost is very much dependent on your start date. Depending on which installment plan you choose, it can be anywhere between $15.75 and $20 per week. Please call or visit the gym for detailed pricing information, or get that information during your 3-weeks of classes. There is no obligation to continue after that, although obviously we would love it if you did! Thanks for the question.

Q:

Do you offer summer camps during the summer? and will the membership cover advance booking for those?

Melissa S.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Melissa - the membership will allow you to get the member prices on summer camps. You will still have to book them and pay the member prices. As an example non-members pay roughly $3 per camp more than a member would. So you don't have to attend that many camps before the membership pays for itself. However, if you are only purchasing the groupon deal to use the membership for summer camps (and not for the 3 classes), we would suggest that you just pay for the membership to us in the summer as it will work out to less than this deal. Great question, thanks!

Q:

Well I purchased them. Great!! Except your mailbox is full at the south gym now. :-(....

Lisa  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

HI Lisa! Thanks for purchasing. I promise we will do our best to accomodate everyone. We realize not knowing the availability of space in classes is an issue, but we have no way around this. Please send an email to tlglondonsouthcan@thelittlegym.com as an alternate way to leave a message. Sorry! We had the same trouble last time we did this. Thanks again -Ed

Q:

Okay so I looked at the schedules online. What if the class is full for the time we need? Do you make an exeption or can we only pick from classes that are open?

Lisa  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

HI Lisa. We can't over book a class due to safety reasons. You have to pick from classes that still have space. Best to phone the gym and make sure about space. Obviously we will do our best to accomodate, but we admit the popular class times are already full. There is really no other way for us to handle this. Thanks for your interest!

Q:

Hello,,,, I would love to purchase one each for my 11 month old, and one for my 4 year old. How can I tell what the times and days are?? What if I purchase an they don't fit our schedule?

Lisa  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Lisa, that's a great question. We have a good choice of options, but class space and times are limited. If you go to our website (make sure you are looking at the location you want (north or south London) and click on schedules, you can see what is offered. Best to phone the gym you are interested in and they will be able to tell you if the classes that work for you still have space. Bear with us, the phones are going crazy, you will likely have to leave a message. The other option is to purchase the deal and if you find your schedule will not fit, you can give it to a friend or get a refund from Groupon. Their refund promise is very good. Hope this helps

Q:

Sorry I'm still confused.. So my daughter is 17 months and we would be able to go to one class a week - would that be covered with this til Aug? She has never been before. If not I don't really understand what this membership really covers if I am having to pay more out of my pocket afterwards.. Very confusing, sorry.

Rachel M.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

HI Rachel. Sorry, no, we can't afford to offer one class per week unti August for $39!!! Let me try again - with this deal, you are getting 3 classes for your 7 month old (one class per week for 3 consecutive weeks) plus a membership that is valid until the end of August. It is an introductory offer to let you experience what we offer before enrolling for the remainder of the season. If you do your 3 classes (the last of the 3 classes can be no later than March 8) and decide to continue, you would pick a payment plan option to pay to continue for the rest of the season and the membership (which is required to enroll in classes) would be covered. If you decide not to continue after the 3 groupon classes, your membership would still be valid if you wanted to get member discounts on birthday parties, camps or parent survival nights. You would also be eligible for loyatly points for anything you purchase until August 31 as a member.I hope that is more clear.

Q:

So, this deal gives you a family membership valid until August 31/13 . Then you must pay an additional fee for any classes you want to enroll your child in on top of that? How much are karate classes for example?

Q:

How often can you use the gym with a six month membership? Are there only structured classes or can you drop in and the kids can horse around? Pam

pam f.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Hi Pam. There are structured classes. Our goal is to be an educational opportunity rather than a drop in pay-for-play. We have professionally developed curriculum with fabulous learning and growth opportunities for all age groups. If you are simply looking for a place for the children to "horse around", there are lots of other great businesses in the city that offer that. With a six month membership, you have access to those classes (tuition is extra), along with discounts on all of our non-member programs such as birhtday parties, camps and parent survival nights as mentioned in one of my other responses. Many thanks for the questions.
