Before she rejected Duckie in Pretty in Pink, before she applied lipstick without her hands in The Breakfast Club and before she completed a sex quiz in Sixteen Candles, Molly Ringwald was a singer. She began performing in her dad's jazz band at age three, and she's never stopped singing since, heavily influenced by such vocal legends as Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith and Blossom Dearie. Taking the stage at Long Beach Arena as part of a tour that has taken her to seven countries, Ringwald performs her unique take on jazz standards, cabaret classics and show tunes from the Great American Songbook as well as numbers from her debut album, Except Sometimes. For this special engagement, she'll be performing with the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra, led by Pops Conductor Sean O'Loughlin. Bring a picnic to the venue, kick back and enjoy the show!
Outside food is allowed. Bring in your own food and drinks to the concert and enjoy picnicking time before the show.
