What You'll Get
The history of theater goes all the way back to the 1970s, when audiences were eager to see "living movies." See how far these unfilmed talkabouts have come in only 40 years with today's Groupon: for $12, you get two tickets to any theatrical performance at The Magnetic Field (up to a $28 value).
The Magnetic Field showcases all-original plays, stand-up, musical, and dance performances. Browse the busy calendar of events slated to take the stage of The Magnetic Field's intimate theater. The Labyrinth, a dark comedy, follows an asylum patient as he scours the underworld in search of his best friend. A cadre of strange and wonderful characters stitch together scenes that move from a mental hospital to the River Styx to a television studio to a desert, much like Edward R. Murrow's eyewitness account of Burning Man. Though this Groupon is not valid for food and drink, enthused audience members can nosh and sip at the sleek café and bar on the premises.
The Magnetic Field is closed on Sundays.
