As a kinesiologist and CrossFit Level 1-certified coach, Tyron Piteau knows how the body should move normally and when it's being pushed to the limit. The latter is a regular occurrence at The Maker's Body CrossFit, where Piteau and his team of coaches lead groups through CrossFit workout of the day. Built around functional exercises such as pull-ups, dead lifts, and jumping onto things to get away from a mouse, the fitness discipline can be scaled for newcomers and regulars alike. Other classes at the facility have a similarly functional nature, including the olympic lifting class and Throwdown class, which is a free-range version of the daily CrossFit workout.
