Laughter is the best medicine, especially when taken in large doses while undergoing chemotherapy, as Megan Timpane recounts in her solo show, Having Cancer Is Hilarious. A native of San Francisco, the 23-year-old Timpane is a recent graduate of UCLA's prestigious acting program, and also a recent survivor of Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. In this performance at The Marsh, she'll look back at the rollercoaster ride of her diagnosis and treatment, in which she was able to find some unexpectedly hilarious highs among the more difficult down moments.
The show is recommended for those ages 15 and older and runs 70 minutes. There’s no intermission.
