Faces, like potatoes, must be scrubbed and buffed to clear away excess dirt, remove dry skin, and prevent the emergence of extra eyes. Buff away unsightly blemishes with today’s Groupon: for $35, you get an organic facial at The Massage Shoppe in Jacksonville Beach (a $70 value).
During 45-minute visage-pampering sessions at The Massage Shoppe, owner and aesthetician Crystal Fulco and her trained staff soothe ailing skin with custom facial treatments. First, the dermis wizards study façades to determine skin type before blending all-organic ilike products—used for decades in Hungary—to concoct custom face potions. The natural products, made in small batches, fuse together handpicked herbs, fruits, and vegetables, and each concoction contains rejuvenating vitamins, fruit acids, and bioflavonoids to make kissers glow brighter than a jack-o'-lantern after its first kiss.
Crystal Fulco spent six years in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician before she decided to start over in a career that fit with her passion for human connection. Although she only intended to work her way through college as a massage therapist, she found herself drawn to the practice and decided to commit to it fully. With only three months of professional experience, she founded her own practice, a place where she could focus on using deep-tissue, neuromuscular, and myokinesthetic techniques to treat subdermal aches and pains without surgery, medications, or costly seismograph examinations.
Now joined by three more massage therapists and an esthetician, Reverie Bloom continues to treat stressed muscles and minds while boosting patrons’ confidence with its spa. The spa’s facials exfoliate countenances and imbue them with a healthy glow using organic skincare products.
