  • For $12, you get $25 worth of Mediterranean dinner fare.
  • For $5, you get $10 worth of Mediterranean lunch fare.

Offering a diverse menu of delicious Mediterranean-style meals, The Mediterranean Grill attracts biters by preparing its homemade fare with natural ingredients untainted by added preservatives, MSG, or experimental supersoldier serum.

Guests can stop in and sample Chef Elie Harir’s skilled serve-ups of hummus ($6.25) or indulge in Moroccan cigars ($3.99) for business meetings, celebrations of new parenthood, and Noble Experiment-skirting schemes. Falafel balls ($3.99) and lamb kebabs ($19.99) dance a tango while entrees such as stuffed eggplant ($16.99) and lamb with apricots and prunes ($19.99) play savory-sweet duets.

Lunch embraces the scrumptious skills of the sandwich with classics such as falafel ($6.25) and Tuesday-only turkey schwarma ($6.99), as well as creative combinations that include tunisian tuna with pickled lemon ($6.25) and the santorini with crumbly feta, tapenade, peppers, and fresh basil ($6.99).

The Mediterranean Grill

No MSG, artificial colors, or synthetic flavors can be found in The Mediterranean Grill's kitchen. That's because chef and owner Elie Harir works with fresh, whole, and all-natural foods to make pan-Mediterranean dishes such as falafel, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and gyro platters topped with tzatziki and feta. He pan sears farm-raised salmon before topping it with a Mediterranean pesto cream sauce, marinates sirloin kebabs in wine and onions, and nestles falafel in pitas for lunch. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch noted that, more important than Harir's "Israeli roots and knowledge of a range of Mediterranean cuisines" is his ability to use spices "without overwhelming the underlying ingredients." In addition to serving lunch and dinner Tuesday–Saturday, The Mediterranean Grill can also cater events—such as weddings, dinner parties, and baptisms—for up to 500 humans or a single hungry hippo.

The atmosphere isn't terribly great, but the food is delicious! I think it'd be great to get as a "take out" order.
