Q:

It says under the terms and conditions that "18% service fee added to pre-discounted bill." Does this mean that you are adding the service fee on the net worth of the groupon of $98 (ie. the service fee is about 18% of $98=$17.60)?

Mariyana Z.  asked on  Mar 29, 2013

A:

The service fee is gratuity.

Q:

I have been waiting for days for an answer! I am really nervous about getting the coupon for 4. There will be 5 of us. Concerning reservations, can't I just call the Melting Pot? I am not good with the computer. pzale@charter.net 8394466

Q:

How is the value for this Groupon being determined? On the regular menu, a "4-course experience" (cheese, salad, entree, dessert) w/ the 'Fondue Delight' option (the choice most similar to the Groupon offering) is $44.95/person ($89.90/couple). So how is it that taking away the dessert makes the meal 'worth' $98?

Margaret N.  asked on  Mar 29, 2013

A:

The plate we have created is not a Fondue Delight, or any other menu item plate, but a special plate just for Groupon. With any restaurant, the portion of the meat or seafood determines the price of the meal. The size of the tail, or if it is a 6 oz, 10 oz, or 16 oz portion of Filet.
