Bite-sized morsels infiltrate the grown-up table in today’s deal, mounting a two-pronged assault that will storm your taste buds with deliciousness. Get to dippin' and sippin' with this Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of cuisine at The Melting Pot, a storied fondue establishment located on Gayton Road.
Fondue is a change-gaming way to feast, letting you dip morsels of meat, bread, fruit, and vegetables into melted cheese, gooey chocolate, and flavored sauces. The Melting Pot avoids haphazard dunking affairs with its careful pairings of dips and dippables. Start with a classic cheese fondue ($16, serves one to two), with options ranging from the traditional Swiss cheese fondue, made with Gruyère and Emmenthaler cheeses, to the unorthodox fiesta cheese fondue, made with cheddar cheese, Mexican herbs, peppers, unbridled adventure, and spice. Every cheese fondue is served with perfectly sized pieces of fresh bread, vegetables, and apples for maximum dippage.
Entrees range from $18 to $27 and include bountiful meats harvested from the land and sea. Each entree is cooked tableside in your choice of four cooking styles. Landlubbers can choose from chicken, filet mignon, and sirloin in various combinations, while seafarers might prefer meats used to the chill of the abyss, such as white shrimp, scallops, cedar plank salmon, or lobster tail (add to any entree for $15). For conscientious objectors, The Melting Pot also offers a munificent vegetarian entree, which includes edamame or onion rings, artichoke hearts, asparagus, portobello mushrooms, and more ($19).
For nostalgic sweet-tooths desiring the cauldron-fired chocolates from childhood days spent with Grandma's coven, The Melting Pot offers dessert dippers such as fruits, cakes, marshmallows, and brownies (small $15, regular $30). Available fondues include cookies 'n’ cream marshmallow dream, bananas foster, and chocolate s'mores, among others. Check out all the menus at the Gayton Road location for more details on the gooey goodness.
This Groupon is valid at the Gayton Road location only. This Groupon is not valid for alcohol, with other offers, or on holidays.

The Melting Pot
When The Melting Pot originally opened in 1975 just outside Orlando, the location was cozy and quaint, but diners had only three options: swiss-cheese fondue, beef fondue, or chocolate fondue. However, as the restaurant grew in popularity, so did its menu selection and atmosphere. The restaurant first expanded four years later under the leadership of a Melting Pot waiter and enterprising college student named Mark Johnston, who teamed up with his brothers Mike and Bob to open a new outpost in Tallahassee. This location grew in reputation to pave the way for future franchise expansion. Today, the company—now owned by the trio of siblings—reigns as the premier fondue, wine, and drink restaurant, stretching across North America with more than 140 restaurants linked by underground tunnels. The restaurant's menu has also ballooned, and patrons can now expect six varieties of hot dipping cheese paired with salads, meats, and molten chocolate.
On a given night, groups of foodies gather around tables to nosh on signature four-course meals, from cheese-fondue appetizers and various salads to steaks and seafood cooked in a choice of healthy broth or oil. Birthday revelers and couples can share decadent evenings at private tables, capping off meals with chocolate desserts that have defined The Melting Pot for decades.
