About The Ogden
Located just blocks away from the United Center, Arrow on Ogden manages to capture the fever pitch of fandom for every Bulls and Blackhawks game. 23 flat-screen televisions ensure that patrons don't miss a single play. Live DJs energize the crowds with mixes of rock, Top 40, classic hip-hop, and house music before and after each home game, and bartenders keep the revelry alive by filling pint glasses with locally brewed as well as imported beers.
Although the thrill of being near the action is a major draw, the menu aims to exceed expectations. Chicago Magazine praised this ambitious approach, describing Arrow on Ogden as "a chef-driven sports bar." Small touches such as house-smoked sundried tomatoes, homemade barbecue sauce, and jumbo wings that never see the inside of a freezer help to elevate many of the dishes above standard bar food.
Even the ambiance seems to embrace the aesthetic of a refined lounge as opposed to a casual sports bar. Neutral earth tones and exposed brick pillars lend a cozy warmth to the polished space, and irregularly arranged wooden slats divide each of the booths. Meanwhile, a pair of charcoal-gray, low-backed armchairs sit in front of the room's flickering fireplace, which is fueled by an effigy of the visiting team's mascot.
