Held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on March 22–23, the high-octane Palm Beach Auction event showcases more than 350 collector cars such as a 1982 Chevy Corvette and a 1928 Auto Red Bug: an early automobile consisting of a couple of seats and an open-air wooden frame. Visitors can view these classic machines and bid on their favorites. Admission for kids 12 and younger is $5, and kids younger than 2 get in free; auctions take place between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.<p>
The Palm Beach Auction
Walking onto the convention floor at The Palm Beach Auction is like stepping into a time machine. Motor enthusiasts can marvel at hundreds of horseless carriages manufactured starting in the early 20th century through modern day. At any one event, collectors might showcase classic muscle cars such as the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, sports cars such as '80s-era Corvettes, or even the 1929 Ford Model A Phaeton—one of the earliest automobiles to ever roll off the line. The event auctions these vehicles off to the highest bidders, who then can finally get rid of their families' matching set of unicycles.
