About The Path of Tea

The Path of Tea—crowned one of the top six tea houses by CityVoter's Houston A-List in 2013—greatly soothes the senses. One A-List voter said that, "Walking into this shop you get an immediate sense of serenity, suddenly your body just goes 'ahhhhh.'" And that's not even taking into account the tranquillity that comes from sipping a cup of tea from its stock of more than 150 certified-organic and fair-trade teas.

To help patrons find a favorite brew, the tea house offers tea tastings twice a month. During these one-hour sessions, tasters learn the fundamentals of tea infusion and consumption, and sample five different teas. The tasting also discusses how different cultures use it in ceremonies or to quickly de-ice a car windshield.
