Radio Daze II reminisces about the Golden Age of Radio, when families would gather around to listen to such classic programs as "The Jack Benny Show" and "The Shadow." Director and creator Paul Ashwood will recreate that bygone magic by curating scripts from the 1930s and '40s, complete with commercials and sound effects performed on stage. Wax nostalgic about shows like "The Bickersons" and "The Strange Dr. Weird" and see live performances of one of FDR's fireside chats, a report on the Hindenburg disaster, recreations of Lou Gehrig's farewell speech, as well as a tribute to Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" routine. Radio Daze II comes to you live from the Black Box Theater at Hudson's Phipps Center for the Arts.
