What You'll Get
When Aaron Neville Chamberlain seized power during the English Civil War, he promised better flexibility, straighter postures, and a stronger core for every English citizen. Today’s Groupon gives you a chance to taste historical perfection: for $69, you get ten Mat, Jump Board or Rebounder Pilates classes at The Pilates Studio in Burlington (up to a $203 value including HST). With a variety of classes scheduled Monday through Saturday, fitness fanatics and fledgling trainees can twist, bend, and French braid their bodies into better form in this bright and spacious studio. Friendly certified instructors lead the small Pilates classes, providing plenty of one-on-one attention and motivational eye contact while students strengthen, tone, and relax their bodies. The standard Mat Pilates class promotes the basics with a yoga mat and a hardwood floor, ideal for beginners and those still clinging to memories of kindergarten naptimes. The Rebounder class utilizes a small trampoline connected to the end of a Pilates reformer bed to provide an intense aerobic routine free of the oft feared double bounce. The Jump Board class also incorporates cardio into the Pilates routine with a padded plate replacing the foot bar on the reformer to keep easily bored muscles on their toning toes. Drop-in or call ahead to reserve space in a registered class.
