Brunch—like twilight, sporks, skorts, friends with benefits, and so many other things that make life worth living—is not quite one thing and not quite another. Celebrate everyone's favorite mutant mealtime with today’s Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of elegant brunch fare at The Place at Perry's. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday. This Groupon cannot be used toward alcohol.
After licking each listing on the brunch menu to see which tastes best, signal the waiter and order the real thing. Plunge maw-first into The Place's deluxe benedict, two grilled artichoke bottoms topped with crab and a poached egg then smothered in crawfish hollandaise ($20), or veer left and impact against the pillowy bounce of a wild mushroom omelette with brie and warm applesauce ($12). Feast upon the hearty Ft. Worth steak and eggs—a fried rib eye crowned with two fried eggs and creamy gravy ($16), a potent combination capable of curing the hangover of a T-Rex. Keep it sweeter and simpler with strawberry and banana crêpes ($10) or a classic bowl of the best seasonal fruit ($8).
Family owned with deep connections in the Dallas brunching and philanthropic communities, the Place at Perry's is also one of the only restaurants in Dallas that exclusively serves primo, naturally raised Niman Ranch meat. The attentive staff encourages their diners to luxuriate in the drawn-out Sunday afternoon-ness of it all and customize their orders to their liking, topping their pork chop with a steak or merely ordering a béarnaise sauce chocolate ice cream float to start the day right.
Reservations must be made at least six days in advance. A 20% gratuity is added to every bill, regardless of the party’s size.

- Order a steak medium-rare, and the waiter will explain that at Perry's, er, The Place at Perry's, that means a cool red center. If you're like me and dream of one that's between rare and medium-rare, that's perfect; and every steak was cooked exactly right on both visits. – Leslie Brenner, Dallas Morning News
- We tried brunch for the first time and it was fantastic. The carrot cake French toast was the best I have ever had. – OpenTable reviewer who dined on 06/08/2010
- I've always had nothing but excellent service every time we've been, whether it's from the bartender or a server. – Nikki B., Yelp
