It was the most well-run beer fest I have been to - and I've been to a lot of festivals. It was well-organized and the layout made for a less cramped experience. Also, it was nice to have restrooms not port-a-potties. Plus, I LOVED the food trucks. What a great idea!

As beer festivals go, this one was not all that exciting--without the VIP ticket, you didn't really have a lot of variety outside of what the breweries sell the most of. But the Groupon for this festival definitely made it worthwhile to go, and we had a decent time. I'd go again if a Groupon were offered for it; if no Groupon is offered for this festival, I'd have to think long and hard about whether to spend the money.

What You'll Get

Beer has been enjoyed for millennia, much like the comical query "Working hard or hardly working?" Taste a time-honored tradition with this Groupon.

About The Ponce de Leon Beer Fest

When searching for a theme for their craft-beer expo, The Ponce de Leon Beer Fest's organizers realized they already had one in their venue––the Yaarab Temple––which sits on Ponce de Leon Avenue. The explorer famously sought the Fountain of Youth, so they decided to actually create one. In doing so, they asked their participating breweries to bring their freshest ideas and most experimental brews, making their taps flow with some of the the youngest beers available. More than 30 breweries––including Red Brick, Monks Meadery, and Orpheus Brewing––complied.

To keep the experience as enjoyable as possible, they festival's creators decided to limit the number of guests to 1,500. They also brought in enough bands to book two stages for the duration of the event. They even invited a number of food trucks to fend off guests' hunger with their edible engine parts. Proceeds from the event benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
