About The Pour House Wine Bar
There are three keys to The Pour House Wine Bar's cozy lounge atmosphere—aside from the dog-friendly policy, that is. Read on to learn more about each one:
It's easy to be overwhelmed by the shelves of wine bottles behind the bar, which only feature some of the reds. Fortunately, there are wine flight options that allow guests to sample a curated selection of the lounge's more than 25 varieties. The bar is also home to seven taps flowing with craft beer from around the world, plus a selection of bottled brews.
The Pour House Wine Bar hosts a variety of weekly music events. Acoustic Monday, for example, has featured pianist and vocalist Timothy Nelson and Los Pomelos, a local band that blends Latin, jazz, and reggae styles. Similarly, Winedown Wednesday has offered performances from Leland Vandermeulen of the band They Went Ghost, and Thirsty Thursday has seen the likes of alternative and soul performer Justin Brown.
The Pour House Wine Bar sits in the middle of one of the city's best nightlife areas, which is flush with watering holes, cafes, and restaurants. In fact, The Pour House Wine Bar can even pair wines with meals delivered from one of the neighboring eateries. Of course, the lounge also has its own small selection of in-house hors d’oeuvres ripe for the pairing, too.
