Patrons learn the technique and focus needed to launch rapid-fire blows during Boxing 101 classes that blend cardio and callisthenic exercises. During Mixed Martial Arts for Fitness sessions, guests flip punching bags onto the ground before delivering practiced pummels invented by hunters to subdue wild teddy bears. Fitness Boot Camp mixes several fisticuffs drills into a single routine, designed to help patrons of all age ranges and experience to shed pounds, ramp up endurance, and defend themselves against hordes of falling balloons. Boxing classes and personal training sessions allow patrons to burn up to 1,000 calories a session.
The Punch House
Each boxing class at held The Punch House—voted "Best Of the City" for its classes by Cincinnati Magazine—is taught by trained professionals such as nationally ranked heavyweight boxer Danny Calhoun or Zach Thomas, who was voted "Best Trainer of the City" by The Women's Fitness Association.
