About The Ranch Golf Club
Nestled in Silicon Valley, The Ranch Golf Club's fairways unfurl over rolling hills and plunge alongside oak-filled canyons. From some parts of the course, golfers can enjoy majestic views of the mountainous countryside; from others, they can see the cities get denser up to the San Francisco skyline in the distance. Along the way, they play 18 holes of a slightly-more-challenging-than-average public championship course, which offers one of the highest slope ratings in California.
Golfers can warm up on the putting green before hitting the first hole, ensuring they'll be loose enough to deal with the elevation changes and large water hazards to come—no matter which of the four tee-off positions they choose. The signature hole, the No. 15, presents a tiered green divided by a treacherous bunker, while the edges are lined with large trees and native foothills. It requires a straight and accurate drive to make par 3. Once players meet the course's tests, they can tuck in for breakfast or lunch at the Tuscan-inspired hilltop clubhouse.
