Q:

Do you do IPL on arms? If so, is it the entire arm or just partial? Would both arms be one session?

Nancy W.  asked on  Aug 20, 2013

A:

Hi Nancy, This is Cece the nurse from the Rejuvenation Center sorry for the delay. We do offer IPL to either full arms or just half arms. Although the groupon deal is only for face, neck, hands or chest. We have however allowed clients to redeem TWO of the visits in place of one treatment of half arms (either lower or upper).

Q:

Is there any contradindication with taking hydrochlorothiazid and the limelight ipl? And any containdication with using 15% glycolic and the limelight ipl? Thanks

tina b.  asked on  Aug 19, 2013

A:

Hi Tina, thank you for your inquiry. If you are on a photosensitive drug such as HCTZ it is advised that you do not do any laser treatments unless you refrain from the medication. I suggest also collaborating with your prescribing physician regarding the medication and your desire for laser treatments. At the Rejuvenation Center our doctors and PA assess all patients prior to their first treatments. Patients are not treated unfortunately if they are on a photosensitive medication. As far as glycolics...if it was a glycolic peel we would not perform the IPL for a few weeks after a peel was performed. If the glycolic use was a type of face wash or face product, you would just have to avoid its use a few days prior to each IPL treatment.

Q:

I have brown spots on my face, arms and hands. Does this Groupon offer apply to treatment for only one area? Thank you

Cindy B.  asked on  Aug 19, 2013

A:

Hi Cindy, You may use one treatment to your choice of either face, arms or hands. I would suggest that you buy the package of 6 and do 2 treatments to each area to start. The average client needs anywhere from 3-8 treatments per area depending on skin type. We could further assess when you arrive for your first visit. In the meantime, if you would like to treat each area I suggest the package of 6 and use them for 2 treatments to each area.
