Q:

Do you get to keep your cleaned catch/es? Any minimums/max on catches/weight? How often is this outfit under 10 persons aprox.? Don't want to get hung on a line when trying to plan this trip. haha

David  asked on  Oct 11, 2012

A:

David; Customers can keep anything they catch within the Florida Fish And Wildlife's (FWC) Saltwater Rules and Regulations. The limits are for size and quantities of each species. The crew is cognizant of these rules and will inform you. As in all types of fishing, there are no guanantees that the fish will bite! They have a mind of thier own, and don't feed always on demand. Our goal is to do the best we can to give our customers the best opportunity to catch fish, and provide a positve experience in doing so. A minimum passenger requirement has always been in place. This is due to the high costs of operating a large vessel. Usually it's bad weather that keeps us in, as we don't want our customers to have an unpleasant experience. On the rare occasion that we cannot go due to lack of customers, we will offer an alternative date. If the fishing date you reserved is your only alternative, we will happily refund your money!

If a group of us purchase individual certificates, how can we guarantee we can all go on the same charter? How many people do we need to have the charter to ourselves?

Q:

Do we have to come in a group of 10?

Rita G.  asked on  Oct 11, 2012

A:

Rita; We are sorry for any confusion in the rules! Our business is open to the general public, and therefore you can expect to fish with people you will not personally know. The 10 person minimum means we need 10 paying customers to constitute a trip. Thank you!
