What You'll Get
Legend has it that ancient gladiators fought in cages to win the favor of the gods, who blessed victorious warriors with immortality and unlimited ambrosia refills. Ride a wave of adrenaline to Olympian heights with today’s Groupon: for $69, you get a one-month all-access pass to classes and open gym sessions at The Rock MMA & Fitness Center in Huntersville (a $145 value).
The mixed martial artists of The Rock MMA & Fitness Center sculpt bodies into fighting shape with classes in Brazilian jiujitsu, karate, kickboxing, and a fitness boot camp. A month-long unlimited pass grants would-be mat mercenaries access to challenging and strenuous one-hour or longer classes such as kickboxing, the only proven defense against hostile chorus lines. Master more grounded forms of martial arts, such as Brazilian jiujitsu, a combat sport and self-defense system that focuses on grappling, ground fighting, and strudel bake-offs. Students can drop-kick metabolisms with calorie igniting boot camp sessions tailored to students' individual fitness goals, or escort a fetching gym bag to an open gym session. The Rock MMA & Fitness Center offers classes for students ages five to adult.
