What You'll Get
From surrealism to absurdism to whateverism, the UNFringed Festival comes to New York’s The Secret Theatre with a new batch of unhinged, unabashed and unbelievable plays. Gathering a wide range of artists, UNFringed unleashes daring new works that further push the boundaries of art and theater. This year’s event showcases a new take on Waiting for Godot with “cute boys in their underpants,” an anti-PC variety show called Intolerant Vaudeville and a work in which award-winning writer-entertainer Andrew Martin knits a wool hat live on stage (which is then raffled off to an audience member) while he recounts his eventful life and love for needlework.
