Does the facial hurt, much? and more importantly, Would this leave my skin red, for awhile? Would there be a lot of pain after?

Hello Sylvia, Thank you for your questions! Each facial feels slightly different than the other: during the Laser Genesis treatment your skin will feel a slow warming sensation (much like laying in the sun) and is very relaxing. During the Photolight and Limelight treatments the intensity of the sensation will depend upon how much sun damage as well as red and brown pigmentation is being treated. All of the treatments can be performed even during a lunch break, as they have little to no down time. Additionally, a masque is applied at the end of the treatment to cool and sooth the skin. Laser Genesis is a rejuvenating treatment which is often performed prior to an event due to no downtime and immediate rejuvenating effects. After a Photolight or Limelight treatment, the brown and red pigmentation treated tends to first get darker before fading away. This temporary darker pigmentation can last up to 2 weeks, and is easily covered with makeup and often unnoticed. It is best to stay out of the sun 2 weeks before and after a Photolight or Limelight treatment, and 3 days before and after a Laser Genesis treatment. We offer complimentary consultations at all of our seven locations if you have any other questions as well!
