What You'll Get
Though best known for expanding the limits of human thought, the great philosophers were also ardent proponents of skin treatments—rarely furrowing their brows without first applying a de-furrowing cucumber mask. Wipe out your own philosophical furrows with today’s Groupon to The Spa at Evergreen, located in the Marriott Resort and Conference Center inside Stone Mountain Park. For autumn, winterize dingy dermises with one of the following options:
- For $35, you get a 50-minute apple and brown sugar pedicure (a $70 value)
- For $50, you get a 50-minute cinnamon and spice hot stone massage plus a complimentary cup of hot cider (a $100 value)
- For $50, you get a 50-minute evergreen facial with a warming pumpkin masque (a $100 value)
Treatment themes rotate seasonally, but the pricing and basic service remains the same regardless of scent.
To match the stunning foliage fireworks of its surrounding parkscape, The Spa at Evergreen’s skilled staff has added a rich dose of autumnal flavors to its soothing spa services. The apple and brown sugar pedicure treats your tootsies to the equivalent of squishing them into Grandma's apple pie without the risk of ruining another Thanksgiving. The brown sugar scrubs away summer's dead skin before the spa crew massages the silky new skin with apple-scented lotion, leaving your toes tasting sweet enough for you to suck on idly during slow office meetings. The cinnamon and spice hot stone massage warms you inside and out with a handful of heated hunks and a hot cuppa cider. And the evergreen facial harnesses the power of pumpkins to dissolve away dead skin, leaving your renewed face with a ghoulish grin that seems to glow eerily from within. After a slather of powdered honey and clay draws out toxins, a splash of coconut milk will nourish your most tattered tissue, leaving your flesh-emoticon soft and supple enough to double as a baby toy

About The Spa at Evergreen
Located in the Marriott Evergreen, a resort described by an NBC Channel 11 reporter as "like being in another world," The Spa at Evergreen celebrates 10 years of transporting guests to another dimension of relaxation with pampering massage, skin, and nail services. The décor of each of the in-hotel spa’s treatment rooms is inspired by an element to add an air of ritual to massages, facials, and body wraps. In the earth room, dark tones and the soothing scent of sandalwood and teak form a stark contrast to the lavender-colored, citrus-scented wind room, where aestheticians perform facials with Dermalogica products. In the water room, a rain shower in the ceiling rinses mud and seaweed from bodies after exfoliating body treatments or slimming wraps. Flickering candles warm the final treatment space, aptly named the fire room, where soothing massages atop heated treatment tables melt muscles like caramel snowmen.
