The Springs at Days Inn Fort Myers
A happy accident made The Springs at Days Inn Fort Myers what they are today. In 1962, oil drillers had reached a depth of 1,000 feet underground when they stumbled upon a pool of hot, mineral-rich water. Today, visitors to the Days Inn can hop inside and take in the alleged healing properties of the 82-degree spring and its surrounding sediment. Nearby, a regular wading pool stands at the ready to cool off guests and offer respite from the sulfury smell of the springs.
